1.
The balance as per specified receipt is payable before arrival unless otherwise by prior arrangement. Only cash, travelers cheques, personal guaranteed cheques or bank cheques are acceptable.

In the event of the key’s collected after hours your account is to be settled in the first day that the office is open. If not, a collection fee of R25.00 will be charged.

3.
Breakage deposits will be posted only after departure and only after inventory has been checked.

4.
Sub-letting is strictly prohibited unless arranged by agent. Extra charge will be made for cleaning.

5.
Cottages are let strictly on the number of beds available and any excess of that number cannot be accepted. (Children inclusive).

6.
Premises must be vacated not later than 09h00 on the day of departure and can only be occupied by 14h00 on the day of arrival except by special arrangement with agent. On public holidays and Sundays early arrival and late departure are permitted.

7.
Caravan and tents are prohibited.

8.
Tenants wish to bring their own servants should make advance arrangements as to ensure accommodation.

9.
NB: Please note – no pets allowed.

Inventories must be checked and any discrepancies reported without delay. If no shortages are reported the contents of the house will be regarded as correct and the tenants will be held responsible for any shortages or breakages on vacating the premises.

11.
If clean linen in a non-service unit is required, soiled linen to be brought to office in exchange for clean linen only during the morning.

12.
Tenants when vacating houses/flats are requested to leave the house clean; to place all soiled linen in a bundle. The servicing of flat entails the making of beds, cleaning of bathrooms, floors, dustbins and braais. It does not include washing of dishes. They do not service on Sunday’s and public holidays.

13.
Key’s must be returned to the office. All windows closed and outside doors to be closed. An after hours deposit box is available at the office. All alarm systems must be activated.

14.
Advanced bookings are only accepted on the understanding that the house/flat may be available for leasing for the said period. If not available a reasonable effort will be made to transfer the reservation to other accommodation, or to refund the deposit without prejudice.

15.
Failure to cancel this reservation 30 days before due date will be deemed as acceptance and liable for the full rental, unless an alternate tenant is obtained for the full period.

16.
Administration fee is not refundable.

 

17.
Deposits are only refundable on cancellations where alternative tenants are found to fill the FULL PERIOD vacated.

18.
All advanced bookings made more than three months are accepted on the understanding that tariffs are subjected to those in force at the time of taking occupation or a 20% increase, whichever is the smaller amount.

19.
Lodgement of the deposit and / taking up of the reserved accommodation is construed to be acceptance of these conditions and binding upon all tenants.

20.
We cannot be held liable for any losses or an inconvenience to tenants caused by an act beyond our control.

21.
In the event of any appliance being out of order we cannot be held liable for the replacement thereof.

22.
Under no circumstances may furniture be moved around.
